My great Aunt Boo always said the way to stay young was dye your hair and wear good shoes. I tried to follow her advice for years, but finally gave up, gray won out. It was the same with having my ears pierced. All my friends kept after me to have it done. I told them over again, if God wanted me to have holes in my ears he would have put them there. Even my uncle got on the band wagon, my husband bought me diamond studs, I still held out, then my best friend came to see me on my birthday and took me shopping. First stop was a piercing booth...oh no I cried...oh yes she replied... and drug me protesting to the chair...it won't hurt a bit she says...but when the girl pulled the trigger and shot that stud through my ear I nearly fainted...but now I'm stylish and feeling young...wearing good shoes...and letting the gray hair shine...
