Blogs by Bo Drury A Special Day 3/23/2008 3:21:08 PMEaster Sunday, How did you spend your day? I'm not getting out much as I still have this awful cough and hate to try to talk or be around anyone. I really do miss the children and Easter egg baskets and Easter sunrise service now that all mine are grown. When our parents decided we were too old for baskets my brother and I got together and fixed one for each of them. Easter morning we insisted we go out to find eggs as usual and low and behold the bunny had left baskets and eggs for Mother and Dad. It was such fun. The grandchildren staying with me went to their moms taking their children to have a hunt and spend the night. My son Steve invited me over to share their dinner but I opted to stay home and prop my feet up and nap a little. One of the g-daughters has this cold like me and is feeling worthless so I fixed dinner for the two of us and her little girl Rilee (who is the apple of my eye, absolutely adorable even in her terrible twos.) There has been a chill in the air all day and my electricity was knocked out for a couple of hours. It was the perfect time to wrap up in a blanket and close my eyes...hope you all had a wonderful day on this special day...Bo
