Blogs by Bo Drury Fired Up! 11/10/2011 11:17:55 AMFans Nothing can get you fired up faster than a compliment or a pat on the back! Here I was feeling pretty low when the phone rang. An aquaintence way up in the north country wanted me to know she had purchased one of my books and was so excited about it. The excitment was immediately transferred to me! It was amazing how my attitude changed from a do-nothing mood to thinking about my next book.It had been mentioned to me I should do a sequel to "Harry Mann in the Tangled Web", but I felt Harry had done it all in the first book, so what could I write about? I had written a very short story and entered it in a contest and darn near won, (that is another tale I must tell one day)I remembered it and pulled it up on the screen and after reading it decided I could make a longer story from it,sooooo the story of Stormy came to life on the computer. Funny how when you get started the character in the story takes over and dictates how it goes from then on. The name of the book at this point is "Stormy". The story of a young woman born during a hurricane. I hope you will consider reading it when it is published, in the meantime please read about her uncle, Harry Mann. I am thanking you now for reading my blog.
