Blogs by Bo Drury Aunt Polly Left 1/29/2008 2:54:53 PMsome things are better left alone... A big wind blew through town this morning and took Aunt Polly out when it left. It’s probably for the best before she got herself into hot water. She was a big proponent of natural healing and herbs and such and as I understand it that is a big no-no with the AMA. She’s one of them do-gooders that’s always sticking her nose in where it don’t belong anyhow, so we will be better off with out her. Seems a shame in a way that we can’t just say what we want to without offending anybody ‘cause you know that wasn’t the intention and I have to agree with her that our freedom of speech along with other rights is just slowly dwindling away. Aunt Polly says that’s ‘cause everyday there are new rules we have to follow cause some guy sitting someplace behind a desk was bored and thought up something else for us to do. I will miss her; sometimes she came up with some pretty savvy ideas. Don’t know where she learned all that stuff, probably out of a book.
