Blogs by Bo Drury slipping and slidding! 1/29/2010 8:21:58 AMWinter weather Gee it looks like another good day to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate! Snow flakes are falling and it looks like a winter wonderland out side. I know my granddaughter didn't think much of it when she left her night shift at six this morning and everything was covered with a sheet of ice. first the car wouldn't start and slid backwards down the incline she was parked on and then the door wouldn't latch when she finally got going and the windshield kept freezing over. She was an ice-cycle herself by the time she got to my house to talk her brother into going with her the rest of the way home. They called to let me know they got there okay and the kids didn't have to go to school today. I loved it when we were kids and school let out for bad weather. It was never too bad for us to go out and throw snowballs and build a snowman. Well the chocolate is hot and my book is waiting,,,,have a wonderful snowy day!
