Blogs by Bo Drury Choices 3/1/2010 8:22:06 AMPity Parties I have been told that I was so dumb I didn’t even know when I was getting the brush-off….My own Mother told me she was sick to death of my Pollyanna attitude. But I want to tell you something folks, I’ve been knocked down, stepped on, chewed up and spit out but I always get up and keep on going. I learned at an early age if you sit around and pout nobody cares or listens, the world keeps on turning with out you, so you better grab hold and hang on. The road gets bumpy at times and you may be reduced to a pity-party now and then but make it short cause you may miss out while your feeling sorry for your self. Bad things and sad things happen to all of us. None of us are alone in that. I just figure God knows what he is doing and he will make it right in the end. I can’t fix the problems of the world, no one asked me too, I do good to take care of the ones I have, so why sit around and worry about things I have no control over. We make choices every day, every thing we do is a choice we made right then at that moment. So you better think about it. Who do you want to be, Grumpy or Happy? Some people just seem to thrive on being unhappy, I choose the opposite. Be Happy! I’m gonna be, ‘cause life is too short to be otherwise!
