Six strangers, all writers, recieve an invitation to a secluded lodge west of Denver, and are asked to compete for a million dollar cash prize. All they have to do is come up with a failproof plot to commit murder and not get caught.
One by one they disappear. No one knows the way out and no one knows who invited them. Is someone using them to plan the perfect murder?(a page a day story for those who love a mystery!) Here I sit at the keyboard, my mind as blank as the sheet of paper before me. Some idiot has issued a challenge. Why would I even bother.....? There's a million dollar prize at the end...that's why! Last Monday I received this invitation in the mail...snail mail that is...to meet with a selected seven members of the writing group. Enclosed was a plane ticket to Denver and an address where we would meet once we arrived. This would take place on Saturday Oct 5Th. We were to spend the night at this hotel, have dinner with our writing buddies and get acquainted over drinks. Sunday morning after breakfast a mini-bus would pick us up and take us to a lodge in the mountains west of Denver. The lodge is called 'the Lucky Seven'. Monday Morning, the 7Th of October at seven o'clock in the morning we were to begin. We have seven days to complete our story and it must be seventy pages. The subject is...get this...how to commit the perfect murder and not get caught. Now how dumb is this. We will meet each evening at seven in the lodge room to discuss our progress...Well its 7:30 AM and I haven't come up with a thing yet. Where do I go from here?
