A ordinary day in my life! The soap opera has been running all day! I cannot get it to turn off!!!!! hahaha
It really started last night when we discovered the sewer cleanout top had blown out! There was 'muck' and stinky water in the back yard. Ok that meant I had to call the rotorooter man! which meant I would be stuck at home waiting for them to show.
Now earlier I had discovered there was an estate sale happening at ten this morning and after reading the list of items to be auctioned I decided to go.Knowing this would be an auction that would be well attended I decided I would have someone drop me off to avoid parking and walking a great distance with my sore knee. I asked my granddaughter if she could accommodate me and learned she had a soccer game at nine.(the auction is at ten!) She asked,"What about Daniel?" Well he was going to the car lot with Steve to pick up the little pickup I just bought him. It had to have a new tire, so he was tied up also. There was still Lori, but she takes three hrs to get ready to go anyplace and she would be sleeping in after working til midnight! There was no one left! If I went I would have to walk! Okay, I am game! Then.....the sewer backed up! Guess I was not meant to go to the auction! It's not that I need anything but I did think of some things I could use. I let Steve use the refrigerator from the country place for the drinks at the lake and I need to replace it before Danny comes home. I really need a washer and dryer at the condo, so when I stay there I can stay clean! And something I would love to have is a vanity so I can sit down and do my hair and face in front of a mirror! It probably won't help my looks much, but then it might! Another thing, and really the main thing I wanted, was the piano they had there. I know it would have been lovely. Mine burned in the country house and I really would like to have another.
So u see how my luck runs, and now I paid out my auction money to the rotorooter man! I THINK I WILL JUST READ A BOOK.....LOVE FROM MY HOUSE TO YOURS...........BO
