Trying to catch up on current events and get back into my writing mode after working all weekend! (And showing my inner geekiness, lol!) Hello, Gentle Readers!
It's Monday morning and I've only got a few days off so I have to really get moving if I'm going to get anything done!
First off, I've added a new page to my website. It's called "From The Heart," and it's going to be a series of articles dealing with issues about health, health care, and the critical care patient experience. I hope you all will stop by at www.pamlabud.com and check it out.
I'm still working hard on my current novel, my fallen angel story, which is now tentatively titled: The Devil To Pay. I can't wait to get this one finished. It's been a lot of fun to write!

On a very sad note, our beloved Greyhound Pepper unexpectedly passed away the other night. My family and are are heartbroken, since he's been with us over 10 years. Now, we are Greyhound-less, (our other girl passed on four years ago). We have decided to adopt another when the time is right, but we miss our guy terribly.
If you've never had a chance to check them out, these dogs are truly gentle giants. They are 45mph couch potatoes. Being crate trained and used to being confined in small spaces, these dogs have a huge heart, are usually mild tempered, and adapt easily to living with a family. They do well in apartments as well, believe it or not.
Not only that, but they make great companions. If you're looking for an adult pet that's easy to live with, Greyhounds are terrific animals.
I've written the Greyhound Pets of America to see if I can post a link to them on my web pages. I'll let you all know if I hear back from them.
Well, that's it for now. I'll try to come back later and add on some thoughts. For the moment the week is about to start. Kids have to be taken to school, dishes have to be done, and laundry...yeah, you get the picture.
