Good news and a fun contest! Hi Everyone!
Just a quick note to wish everyone a Happy Tuesday. I'm pretty sure that Tuesdays are probably the most neglected day of the week. At the moment I can't think of a single song or poem that celebrates the second day of the work week. Not fair, right?
Well, in defense of Tuesday, there is a yummy restaurant, Ruby Tuesdays. And, it does come after the worst day of the week, gloomy Monday, so I guess there are a couple of perks for Tuesday.
For me, it's a nice day because, one: it's my day off, and two: I get to announce that this past weekend I finaled in the paranormal category of the RWA's Hearts Through History chapter contest: Romance Through the Ages. I received the call Saturday and have now seen it officially announced on their website. Very, cool!
Also, it is just ten days until the release of my Cobblestone Press story, Ride A Cowboy. I'm so excited about this series! Plus, in June, the second story,--Back In The Saddle--will be released, and I've already contracted the third story, Unbridled. I have two more planned in the series after that. Who knows where it'll go from there, lol!
One other thing...On May 26th I will be a guest on Aleka Nakis' internet radio show, Romantic Dialogue. It starts at 9 p.m. est. on the nowlive.com site. Aleka and her fellow authors, Maddie James, Catherine Chernow, and Tia Fanning are on every Monday night and they share all the buzz on writing romance novels. Whether you're a writer or a fan of the genre, you really have to check it out!
In honor of my Good News Tuesday, I'm asking all my readers who are on Myspace, to send a hot Cowboy Graphic to my comments section. The address is: www.myspace.com/romanceauthor. On May 23rd, I'll have my critique partners vote on their favorite and give the person who sent it a free download of Ride A Cowboy!
If you're not signed up on myspace, it's really easy and fun. (I do ask that because there are kids on there that the graphic contain no nudity or coarse language.)
