The manuscript I've been working on is finished! That is the first draft is finished -- now it's edit, rewrite, edit and rewrite but you know the drill. There's something very special about writing as most of you writers know. First there is the inspiration, then the plot thickens (excuse the pun) and the story unfolds like a beautiful flower. But, don't those flowers get bugs and thorns along the way? Still it is like making a dream come true and then you get to the end and the emotions are mixed -- I've finished but not really. I woudn't do anything else, though. So, the story is complete, the manuscript has accumulated 71,000+ words and the dream goes on. After this one the next.
