Is it me or what? Why is it that gas prices change daily? Surely the stations don't receive new supplies of gasoline at higher rates every day! People on fixed incomes (that includes me and my husband) are noticing that everything, and I do mean everything, is going up and up. Prices are escalating beyone reason. A fair profit is one thing but price gouging is not only against the law, or should be, but it is uncontionable. It galls me to see oil companies reporting income in the billions each quarter. I understand that the local station owners are not in that category but I still can't understand the daily price increases. Who do we contact? Our government? There must be something we can do. Any suggestions? I drive an economy car and limit travel as much as possible. With no access to public transportation there is no alternative. I know I'm not alone and that millions of others are in the same boat, but, I think that boat's sinking.
