You've heard the old saying "Man may work from sun to sun but women's work is never done." Well all us 'gals' know that to be true. We may have retired from our career but the chores continue on.
Now I've added a couple of additions to my job description. Added are pharmasist and home health care person. But, the new chores, while time-consumming and scary at times, are nevertheless done with love and that makes them not chores but blessings. The prescriptions seem to grow and change almost daily and keeping up with them is a responsiblity. But, my old career of executive secretary stands me to the good. I now have charts, lists and reminders posted in prominent places.
The good news is that Lenny is getting stronger every day and today when we see another physician we are hoping for some closure to some of the problems.
I'm not complaining about anything but instead I'm finding myself thanking God more often than ever for the help and direction He gives me. If anything, this has strengthened me, too.
