Count your Blessings

Sunday and my day started out early with chores that should have been done last week. But it's also a good day to reflect on the good things in life, like family, friends, doing what you love and enjoying good health.

Received a nice review of the latest manuscript from one of my reader-friends so that's encouraging. Sometimes we authors get too close to our work to see what needs fixing and what shines out as good, so faithful readers are such a blessing. Our dinner and card game last night was such fun. It's so good to have friends to share time with. The only sad thing about it is that they will be leaving for the north this coming week and we will miss them. But, we promised to keep the home fires burning until they return in the fall. Keep the faith and keep in touch is our motto.
