Thursday must be the most ignored day in the work week. Each day seems to have some kind of little significance that relegates it to some special inportance. Monday, of course, is the first day and then Friday - well that's TGIF. But Thursday, being the fourth day is generally ignored. Oh, it gets filled with appointments but then so do the others. Ah, well, it's Thursday and on we go.
I recently met a sister writer, Kathryn Neff Perry. We met at a women's networking luncheon and then decided we needed to talk. Fellow authors need that connection so we met again for lunch. We've struck up a friendship and I am continually finding out things about her that are wonderful. What, you ask? Well, she keeps in touch with tidbits of information about our craft. We are making plans for fall activities that we can share and I find this so encouraging. But the biggest surprise is that after she read my book Secrets she put a very nice blurb on her blog (now isn't that a phrase) about how good my book was and urges people to contact me and to purchase the book! What better kind of writer friend could you have. Thanks Kathy!
