Blogs by Sunny Serafino Weekends 5/16/2008 5:36:40 PMFriday night an another week is over; the weekend awaits. I remember when I used to work (a four letter word)I couldn't wait for TGIF. Weekends were so special then. Now that I don't work outside the house and just slave over a computer writing thousands and thousands of words, the weekends stills seem to hold a special quality. I guess it's just natural instinct to hold up and relax a bit more on Saturday and Sunday. Not that tomorrow holds a whole lot of relaxing but unlike a job, when I have things to do they are things I WANT to do. I'm going to join my writer friend Kathy at the Kenilworth Hotel in Sebring tomorrow morning for a book signing so I'm looking forward to that. Let's hope it's successful for both of us. Kathy heads back to Ohio after this weekend and even though we're relatively new friends, I'll miss her. Good old email will keep us in touch though.
