Well, here I am safe and sound after the 18 holes of golf yesterday. First of all, it was fun and I had three great partners. We came in third in the contest but since there were only three foursomes that doesn't deserve any accolades. At the very least, we finished just below par.

As for the aches and pains, I'm pleasantly surprised that there are few golf related discomforts. What is annoying is that after two years of not having a cold, I have one! So the aches are cold-related as is the constant sneezing, sniffling and the scratchy throat. I can remember, though, when colds were a yearly occurrence and you were fortunate if you caught only one. So, I'll drink tea and soup and get over this in a couple of days. The golf was fun, the cold isn't but that's probably the 'into each life some rain must fall" syndrome.
