SUNNY SAYS

I love Saturdays. I don't know if it's a hangover from the days when I worked Monday to Friday but Saturday always seems to have a different attitude from the other days. A kind of purpose drive that eggs me on to be out there and doing things. And, of course, Sunday is a thing of its own.

This morning I went to the grocery store and then to WalMart and then vowed I won't go on Saturday ever again. Why does someone who has all week to shop mill around with all those folks who must shop on Saturday? So, from now on I'll be there on Friday. Of course, you know what happens to well-laid plans but it's a thought. This evening we had dinner with a couple of friends and then to their house to play cards. Since my hubby's recent health problems this was such a treat. He's tired now but the evening was fun and it was good for him to get out (and me too).
