Into each life

I'm sure you've heard the adage, "Into each life some rain must fall…" Well, I've never heard the end of that line but it must be something like, "and rain storms are followed by rainbows." At least that's my ending to that old saw.

My son has been having some very difficult times lately and yesterday he sounded so down-hearted when he called me. But this morning he called early and his message today was much more upbeat. I guess the 'mother' in me will never quit worrying about the 'kids' and I value his thoughtfulness in calling often because he knows I worry when I don't hear from the kids. He is a rare gem of a son and I'll keep praying that things will look up very soon for him. I count my blessings every day and try and convey that message to him. God is good.
