Its storming and the thunder in the distance is like echoes of a haunting love song that won’t leave you alone, pushing memories you’d rather let die into the forefront of your mind, making it impossible to ignore. Rain pelts against the windows, reminding you…making you think of him and the storms you endured. With the raging passion of youth, it was a tumultuous time and you rode every wave of anger and ecstasy as if it would be the last. Love was both the easiest and hardest thing you had ever done and nothing mattered like getting it right. They were the best kind, the stormy night relationships, where lightening flashed and thunder roared and you both rode along with it, rising higher with every bolt, with every fresh wave of rain. It never rains that you don’t remember….those early storms…and the scars they left on your night times.
