Blogs by Sue Hess Books??? 5/18/2007 7:29:40 AMWow, I am so impressed...you all are writing books and I have trouble putting together several paragraphs at one time. The organization and detail necessary to write a book just amazes and stumps me. I love to write and I can pump out a few poems a month and a blog or two but a book? Never. And the problem is the detail involved. You have to remember what you said in the first chapter when you are in the tenth or twelfth chapter and I have trouble remembering what I said five minutes ago. How do you keep it all together and consistent thru all that writing. I tend to say things a few minutes before I think them so it makes consistency a real challenge. I think I could write a chapter or two, maybe even enough for a book but when put together they would not make a bit of sense. I tend to write like I think, in a stream of conciousness kind of way...things fall out of my mouth or off my finger tips and then I follow them where ever they lead me. Organize them? Hell, I don't even control them much less corrall them. My mouth has always been a separate entity, capable of running when the rest of me is occupied elsewhere. I just wanted to tell you all that I am duly impressed, envious even at your skill, your talent....I have only audacity and I haven't figured out what to do with that yet...
