I've been reading a lot of vampire books lately, not the Anne Rice stuff...ho hum...you gotta read Laurell Hamilton. Not only are her books based in St Louis, which makes them an extra kick for me, but her vampires and werewolves...I can't help myself, I have to say...they are to die for. I have never ran into so many sexy men in one book...from the top vampire in the city down to a stripper at one of his bars, they are all the most fantastic creations a woman could dream of. And that makes them more delicious, you could only dream of them. Yeah, I have no desire to date the permanently hairy...I had trouble with all the hair on one of my boyfriends back, if it were covered with fur I think I would have trouble getting into the act. And fangs in my neck might be a turn off but who knows, I might give up a little blood on occasion for something like this. But damn,these guys, when not hairy, or sucking blood are perfect. And we are talking a woman's perfect. Men would say...what's the big deal...but read Lunatic Cafe or Circus of the Damned and tell me, girls, that you won't dream of one of these guys tonight. And then tell me your dreams of course, I'm into vicarious thrills.
