Okay, I will admit that Friday did not last forever the way I feared it would.
Type or Paste your work here...Tuesday is always a strange day for me, it's good because it is not a Monday but it isn't far enough into the week to be a relief. I guess it is just the most nothing day of my week. I try to perk it up by planning something special for lunch or dinner but I'm really trying not to focus so much on food so that's not a good idea this week. I enjoy Amazing Race but thats hours away and work is not doing its part to distract me from the day at all. I've been here for two hours now and have had a couple of phone calls, nothing exciting. My sister and I are taking off for Branson on Friday but that's too far away to be diverting right now. I've read most of the poetry on the A.D. site but it isn't working for me today. I need something interesting on the Internet to keep me busy...if any of you know of any really good sites, let me know. Otherwise, I will eventually start looking up old school mates, lyrics to old rock and roll songs or something else equally as boring just to pass the time. Thanks to boring Tuesdays, I now know that the lyrics to Louie, Louie are not dirty at all and I could have done without that bit of knowledge; my imagination was much better than the reality.
I used to have an internet romance that kept me distracted for hours, we had so much fun on line until I found out that our msn messenger was watched by the powers that be. Gratefully, it was in a random way and nothing ever came of it but I still blush a lot thinking of my boss reading my messenger! For some reason, the romance eventually died a natural death when we were restricted to talking about the weather every day. :} I wonder if that means it was a shallow relationship to start with? My goodness, here I had thought I found the love of my life. Why is it that cyber relationships can seem so intense so quickly...could it be the safe factor...the fact that the other person is not going to show up on your doorstep or ring your phone? I'm not sure but I'm not about to say they can't be fun...if kept in perspective. Whoops...how in the world did I ever get there from a boring Tuesday. Oh well, it gives me something else to think about for the rest of the day...hope yours passes as nicely as mine now will.
