All I Know About Sex 4/5/2005 3:49:15 PM
Well, maybe not everything but this must have some space limitations :}
Sex is fun. If you can figure out how to do it without all the silly complications that seem to come with it. I never could, I always ended up getting married. Yep, every time. Had sex six times and married six times. Okay, so I'm stretching the truth a bit but my mom did bring me up to believe you are supposed to be married to enjoy sex. Folks, it just ain't true. What you have to have, to really have a memorable sexual experience is mutual respect. You may enjoy sex without it, but inevitably, the silence will hit you. Usually right after he rolls away. When you are waiting for him to say something sweet. That's when the quiet gets you. Or when he is ready to go out the door. When you wonder if he will say...tomorrow...or something that means this wasn't just a one time thing. And you get instead...the silence. So how does respect keep this from happening. Don't know. I have never figured it out but believe me I have had the experience both ways and the best sex I have ever had came with....respect. With a man that I respect and who respects me as a person, there was never discomfort afterwards, wondering what to say...friends can always talk and we were friends. So after sex, we talked, we may have had a bite to eat, we may have showered, but whatever we did, it was easy and flowing, no long silences because you are wondering what he is thinking and he is wondering whether he still has time to hit the bar before it closes. Comfortable.
I know this will offend people who believe you should love the person you go to bed with and in some way, I think I loved them all...for awhile. But no I didn't fall in love every time or didn't wait to fall in love. But everytime I didn't have the respect, I ended up regretting the act. If the man thinks you are a slut, you will feel like one. If you are ashamed that you allowed yourself to end up where you are, then you will feel like a slut. But if two people can respect one another enough to realize that they are both there for the same reason, because they enjoy one another's company and wanted to take it to another level, because they both agree on this action and understand their reasons...no false hopes or pretenses...then it can be very good.
So why is this on my mind tonight and why am I boring you with it. I think I'll keep that to myself. Just remember...sex is fun.
