Blogs by Sue Hess Tell me your secrets... 6/6/2007 10:15:35 AMDid you play doctor with the kid next door.... Really? Do ya’ll have a governor inside you somewhere that censors what you say? Or write? Where do you buy those? I open my mouth or put my fingers to the keyboard and the most Godawful things come out. I tell all my secrets, I expose myself completely, admit to everything whether I have done it or not and just generally embarrass myself. The only consolation is that I don’t usually insult other people, unless they are insulted by the mere fact that I fancy myself a writer or poet. For me, there seems to be a freedom to being completely open….hell, maybe it’s just that if you admit to everything, no one will know what you are really guilty of. But I like it, I like throwing everything out there and saying in effect, this is me, take it or leave it. I have pretty much lived my life that way, which has not always had the best results, but people generally get used to me and aren’t shocked anymore. Darnit! Yeah, I know I do it to shock people at times. But mostly, my tongue is just loose at both ends and I have no real control over it. But I love reading about other people and the things you tell that normally isn’t in your resume’. That’s the good stuff, what makes you who you are, how you feel and how you love and where that has gotten you so far.
