I'm dying my hair, the most dead time in a woman's life, when she's sitting with a head full of burning goop, awaiting for transformation into....whatever
There's always hope, thats what hair color is about...
I want to write, so I sit down here, again with hope, that some inspiration will come but as usual, it hasn't. I can't sit on the sofa and read, the goop stains and will always drip, no matter how careful you are. I can't sit at the kitchen table, it just doesn't feel right sitting there wearing nothing but a towel and a headful of promising goop. So here I am at my pc, it always welcomes me no matter in what condition I come. This is the most forgiving place in the house. I have been here in all states of mind, I have cried here, laughed here and even done a few things I would never admit here, but lets not go there. This spot, like no other in my home, is my haven. I can bring my cares, my fears, my hopes and my failures here, lay them down, spread them out, look them over and sometimes, share them with others. And those too are forgiving, they either read or not, care or not, laugh or cry, but to me it is enough to know they might be there...that someone somewhere is reading what I feel and sharing it in some small way. Someone who doesn't care what color my hair is or what I'm wearing, or not wearing...someone who like me sat down in their special place and brought up their special screen and began to read. The life I have chosen is sometimes lonely, I prefer to be alone most times and this leaves me alone at times when I wish I weren't and at those times, you are here, at least in my mind, and I'm not so alone anymore. I haven't got anything to say, nothing major to share, I'm just feeling a bit alone, a little down and I don't know anyone else I could talk to looking like I look at this moment. So thank you, you are a part of my life...a good part.
