Fifi's Thoughts 7/4/2007 4:24:18 PM
Eeeeeyahhh I feel like screaming at 21st Century Gen Y culture and a happy 4th especially to all those Americans who are WORKING TODAY. Omigosh I think we're at the point where everything in terms of culture, entertainment, music, art, and literature made by and catered to Gen Yers and (maybe younger baby boomers and gen Xers too) need to be put in a seperate category when we compare it to the culture of older people who lived say in the mid 20th century. You know best movies of the 21st century (you think culture in the teens and 20s will be any better than the 00s?, best groups of the 21st century, etc.etc.
Case in point I just saw another horrrible stupid must have been written by a ten year old movie called "License to Wed" last night. You remember that old saying from Forrest Gump 'Stupid Does as Stupid says?' Well that describes this movie to a tee. The script had to be written by either that kid who was Robin Williams little sidekick who looked about 10 years old. Stuff about mechanical babies that cried and peed water and gooey blue stuff coming out the other end. Well you get the picture. I don't want to talk about this ridiculous movie anymore. I can't believe that someone as funny and talented as Robin Williams would make something as bad as this. Comeon Marcus and Jerry get 'Fifi' made into film with me in the starring role. We need to have one decent American made movie in the Double Os people can talk about.
Everyone celebrating the 4th eating hot dogs at the beach or by a pool or inside an air conditioned theater watching a lousy movie to get away from the sweltering heat need to think about the real patriotic Americans putting in a hard days work today. I mean all those people at places like Target and Kinkos and Rite Aid and Staples and of course the local movie theater (especially ones showing 'Transformers') because their greedy bosses know they can make a lot of bucks on this midweek holiday with so many people being off. GRRRR LA is so crowded, so many people must be watching Transformers or shopping I couldn't find any parking places at this huge 6 level parking garage at the Galleria out here in Sherman Oaks. Grrrr drove around that stupid parking thirty minutes and got frustrated and left.
40th anniversary Summer of Love retro stuff. Just love those Mommas and Poppas and all the crazy songs they made. Also there was like a big festival called the Montery Pop Festival with the star being a fella named Jimmy Hendrix. I wonder when Jerry's gonna book me to sing at some of these pop festivals. I know they have a few big ones going on today being July the 4th. I'm just as talented as any of these singers today.
People whom I'd like to kick in the butt. You people who have read Fifi know that I get so frustrated with some people (like that.....Kerry Krowley) that I'd like to kick them in the butt. I'm sure there are some people you people would like to kick in the butt too and send them to the Earth's outer orbits. A few people whom I would like to kick in the butts. Married politicians and anybody else for all that matters who 'fool around' on the side, 'pushy' bosses always belittling and bossing their employees around and could never do the job themselves, politicians who never taught in a tough classroom telling 'teachers how to teach,' Publishers, producers, directors, and casting agents who have never written a book, screenplay, sang, or acted in their life, constantly rejecting talented people and accepting this 'mediocrity' we see in the world of literature and entertainment today. 'Kick in the butt' will be a regular feature on 'thoughts.' Ok everyone enjoy the fireworks, way more than enough thoughts for now.
