I'M JUST SATISFIED BEING ALONE WITH MY 3 BRAINS SOMETIMES AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT PARTS OF THE 'WATCHMEN' WERE ACTUALLY 'WATCHABLE' You people realize you have like 3 personalities in your head just like that old movie "The 3 Faces of Eve' with Joanne Woodward? I mean even watching that movie on American Picture Classics when I saw Joan's 3 personalities, 'Eve Black', 'Eve White', and 'Jane' it clearly looked to me like Eve's 'right brain' took over at times, her 'left brain' took over at times, and then her 'whole brain', the 'Jane' character finally took over and she became normal again......Of course all this started when Eve suffered a psychological shock that was triggered because she was forced to kiss her dead grandma at the funeral when she was a little girl. I believe her 'left brain' then took over and her 'whole brain' went into hiding.....I mean people call this stuff 'multiple personality disorder' or 'shizophrenia' but I think it's just different parts of the brain take over a person's 'persona.' I don't know, I know you people will say 'Fifi your no psychiatrist or neurosurgeon your just 'Fifi' you don't know what your saying about this 'brain stuff' but I firmly think what I'm saying is true and I can tell you one thing I know I'm a lot more interesting than any dull psychiatrist or neurosurgeon so there!
ANYWAYS sometimes I would rather be by myself than with other people. I mean my right brain, (you know the part that's emotional and creative and silly and says stupid things), my left brain (you know the part that's logical and tells you not to waste a lot of money and solves complex differential equations and and enjoys reading about the President's tax plan while your sitting on the toilet), and my whole brain, (the part of my cereberum that blends the other two parts and makes the final decision on things) are sometimes a lot more interesting than the dull and unispiring personalities of some of the people I meet. So that's why at times I like to stay home and be myself with my three brains and even talk to myself (that's why I put one of those 'bluetooth' phones on my hear BECAUSE NOW I CAN TALK TO MYSELF AND NOONE WILL LOOK AT ME STRANGE LIKE...YOU PEOPLE REALIZE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE WEARING THOSE BLUETOOTH PHONES ARE ACTUALLY TALKING TO THEMSELVES?
OK now as for 'The Watchmen,' just saw that last night and.......Omigosh it was awful, just another horrible bloody Double Os action film EXCEPT I MUST ADMIT I DID ENJOY THE SCENES WITH THAT BLUEMAN 'DR MANHATTAN' AND WITH 'RORSCHACH,' A CHARACTER WHO WORE A MASK THAT MOVED AND FLOWED AND LOOKED LIKE ONE OF THOSE 'RORSCHACH INK BLOTS' THAT SHRINKS LIKE TO SHOW TO THEIR PATIENTS.
Jackie Earle Haley, you people probably remember him as that cool young punk Kelly in 'Bad News Bears' and also as one of 'The Cutters' from 'Breaking Away', did a fantastic job as this 'Rorschach character and if not for him and the 'Blue Man' 'Watchmen' would have been totally 'unwatchable.' I mean I never seen a Nixon look so corny. EEEEEEEK this is after seeing a great 'Nixon' potrayed by Frank Langella..... Nixon, in 'The Watchmen,' doesn't get involved with Watergate and is one of the most popular presidents in history (which he would have been if not for Watergate) and was voted for like three of four terms (Did they overrule the two term constitutional limit in "The Watchmen?). OMIGOSH THEY ALSO HAD KISSINGER IN 'THE WATCHMEN' AND I WONDER WHICH KISSINGER WAS BETTER, YOU PEOPLE MAYBE CAN TELL ME, 'THE WATCHMEN' KISSINGER OR 'THE PINK PANTHER STRIKES AGAIN' KISSINGER......
I'm sorry but that darn word 'Rorshach' is so darn hard to spell. Had to google it 3 or 4 times to get it right. It definitely needs to be in the next national Spelling Bee.
Jackie Earle Haley is truly a good underrated actor, too bad we didn't see too much of him between 'Breaking Away' and 'Little Children.'
Also I trulytrulytrulytrulytruly appreciate the acting talents of Joanne Woodward, what a great talented acting couple her and her late husband Paul Newman were......
A great great great oldies flick from the past I saw a couple of nights ago that keeps you on pins and needles throughout the whole film, 'The Postman Always Rings Twice' with John Garfield and Lana Turner. WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE MOVIES LIKE THAT TODAY? WHEN I SEE A MOVIE TODAY I FEEL LIKE STICKING MYSELF WITH PINS AND NEEDLES......
They sure like talking about that blonde bimbo Barbie and her 50th birthday party out there in Malibu....When are these people gonna start talking about 'Fifi?'.......
OMIGOSH PINNOCHIO'S 70TH ANNIVERSARY CD IS ABOUT TO COME OUT...I'M THINKING ABOUT GETTING IT.....THAT WAS SUCH A GREAT CARTOON.....I ESPECIALLY LOVED JIMINY CRICKET.....
A COUPLE OF GREAT 'SOUL OLDIES' FROM THE PAST.....'I'M DOING FINE NOW' BY NEW YORK CITY (YEP THAT'S THE NAME OF THE GROUP) AND 'TRUSTMAKER' BY THE TYMES....MORE THAN ENOUGH THOUGHTS FOR NOW..
