EEEEEMIGOSH MARCUS A HAPPY EXTRA TIME FOR IT TAKES THE EARTH TO DO A FULL ORBIT AROUND OUR LOVELY SOL ADDED TO YOUR LIFE AND MAY THERE BE MANY ONES AFTER THAT....
YOU ACTUALLY CAN WRITE A 'SILLY POEM.' I THOUGHT I WAS THE BEST AT DOING THAT....
YOU PEOPLE WANT TO SEE A SILLY SONG THAT I WROTE FOR MARUCS'S BIRTHDAY....THEN READ 'OH AETHEISTS AETHEISTS....' Actually my aetheist friend Dick wrote it and I put it on the web.....
Oh so deep and cerebral....a movie I saw last night....The Secret Lives of Pippa Lee...' My two amygdalas wanted me to climb to the top of the movie theater and put a rope on it and tie it around my legs and I would swing on a trapeze upside down while watching this frankly boring movie. Even my two cerbrums got tired of watching it....A sort of a 00s story in the 'The Ice Storm' genre about a lady who lives in a senior citizen's home because she's married to a fella who is like a hundred years older than her and she is going thru like a middle aged crisis. And there's the affairs, and there's the fights with her young adult kids.....'The Ice Storm' redux.....Well to put it in a nutshell about how popular this movie is, only three people; me, the 200 Year Old Great Writer and another fella WERE THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE...I MEAN 'PIPPA LEE MEETS PIPPI LONGSTOCKING' WOULD HAVE ATTRACTED A MUCH LARGER AUDIENCE....I CAN SEE WHY AMYGDALIC PEOPLE WHO RARELY USE THEIR CEREBRUMS ENJOY SEEING A COUPLE OF CARS CRASHING INTO EACH OTHER GOING LIKE 200 MILES PER HOUR AND BLOWING UP.....MOVIES HAVE TO BEEN IN BETWEEN....IN BETWEEN...NOT TOO CEREBRAL...NOT TOO LIMBIC....
EEEEEEEEEk one more thing about this movie...It was like Retro Actor time....Robin Penn, Keaneu Reeves, Winona Ryder, and Julianna Moore....I'm thinking about movies in the past when I see these people...'Forrest Gump,' 'Dracula,' 'Girl Interrupted,' and 'The Hand that Rocks the Cradle....' Omigosh in Alan Arkin's case,it's like Retro Retro Retro actor time...Just kidding Alan, you a truly a great actor at any age...I just love your roles in 'Glengarry Glen Ross' and 'The Russians are Coming The
Russians are Coming,' and of course, 'Little Miss Sunshine.'
I just can't figure out how two fine actors like Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder made A SILLY MOVIE LIKE EDWARD SCISSORSHANDS WHICH I ACTUALLY LOVED AS A KID....But then I am now in my twenties and my two cerebrums are now fully developed....
That's why you people love seeing a cartoon or scary monster movie as a kid but then love seeing these sophisticated French or Italian movies as an adult, your amygadalas are already developed when you're a baby but your cerebrums don't fully develop till you get into your twenties.....
