They need to pass out oxygen bottles at the local hospitals out here in Southern California. I just went to my hospital and got a flu shot because you know it's the flu season and I got so horribly ill a few weeks ago and I don't want to get sick again. Anyways they need to pass out free oxygen bottles at these Southern California hospitals BECAUSE THE AIR IS JUST THICK WITH SMOKE FROM ALL THE FIRES. Now you people realize what I meant when I said is the most important commodity recently in one of my 'Thoughts' columns and a heck of a lot more important than say money or gold. I mean I have to either stay in my air conditioned car or in my air conditioned coffee shop where I work or my air conditioned apartment because it's not easy to breathe outside. I just feel for all those people who are lost or are being evacuated from their homes and businesses. These terrible fires is not only due to the extreme 'dry season' were having but also some sick arsonists who need to be caught and justly punished.
Just a few more 'thoughts' as I really didn't plan to write today but had to get something out because of these awful fires. Do any of you people ever scratch your nose with your toes? I can do it, maybe it's because I have a limber body and also do some yoga. I wonder if goldfish parents teach their kids the 'facts of life.' I read somewhere in a magazine where a college girl on a tight budget was disappointed because the price of 'birth control' pills was going up and buying them would be hard on her budget. Well I'm sorry young lady, you and your boyfriend can 'save' a little money by practicing something called 'Abstinence' till you finish college, get good jobs, and then get married. Also I read in one of the local rags out here in LA how Chinese workers are getting poisoned because they're breathing unhealthy fumes and chemicals manufacturing all the stuff they make and sell to the rest of the world. When you add this news with all the recent news about things made in China being 'recalled' because of safety issues and you can clealry see these companies are manufacturing 'on the cheap' and the health of the employee or the safety of the product seem to take a back seat. Heck it's almost tantamount to 'slave labor.' I'm gonna be doing a discussion with some of my intellecual friends about life after death and things like 'Astral Planes' and the world beyond. I mean I'm really into the kind of stuff, who wouldn't be? What the heck happens when we all leave our physical 'shells' on this Earth? I keep on hearing a lot of stories feom all these people who underwent 'Near Death Experiences' about going thru some tunnel into a light and meeting all their dead relatives and friends. Do they also meet their enemies? And also I don't understand how people can just 'sit around' in that light and not do any work. The Lord expects us all to do a lot of work here on Earth when we're alive. Why would we not be working in the Afterlife? OK way more than enough silly thoughts for now.
