Maybe Buckeyes will get in there again and now we can all focus on the 'Winter Solstice.' Thanksgiving has come and gone and I am truly so Thankful not to be fighting all that horrible traffic and jamming all the freeways and LAX like a lot of my fellow Los Angelenos did this weekend. The only thing I'm not happy about is that tommorrow is ........groan.....work.
All you people go to the YMCA this weekend and work all that Holiday turkey and stuffings off? I swear when I went to the Y on Friday and Saturday I couldn't hardly find anyone under the age of 40. It felt like it was a health club for Seniors out there. Where the heck are all the young people going to lose weight? Face it there's a lot of overweight genyers and genxers out there.
I just saw all these retro shows put on by oned of the local TV stations out here in LA. I just can't believe the quality of these TV shows compared to the garbage you see made today. I mean I saw one show called 'The Honeymooners' with Jackie Gleason and they were all performing live on stage and the only props you saw were a few chairs and a window. However the show was so funny because of the people. You see a TV show or movie made today with all kinds of 'special effects' but the people are just so dull and boring. That's why I get frustrated when I fail an audition and Mr or Ms Dull gets a role instead of me because of 'contacts.' Face it you don't see a lot of spicy people in entertainment like you did in the old days.
You people realize that 'daydreaming' can be almost as bad as driving under the influence in terms of causing car accidents? I must confesss I like to daydream a lot but it's not a good thing to do when you're at work or driving your car. I need to take a class on focusing your mind, I think a lot of people today aren't very good at focusing their minds.
Grrrrr and ultra GRRRRRR I just did a free blood pressure test at one of those supermarkets and found out my bloodpressure was 'semi high. That's it I'm cutting down on all kinds of sodium. I mean I love Japanese noodles and Chinese food but I need to cut down on that stuff.
It's just amazing how much focus there is on Christmas a month before the event happens. You know with 'Black Friday' and all these Christmas songs being played everywhere and all these people putting up their Christmas lights. My good friend Alocki the alien whose from the planet Zatoris which orbits Alpha Centauri and is the smartest person I ever met says she and her atheist friends will celebrate the Winter solstice on Dec 25, you know when Earth tilts furthest away from the Sun. I wonder why they don't play any winter solstice songs in these stores for the atheists to enjoy?
I'm truly starting to feel more and more like a Californian than a Midwesterner, you know walk by people without saying hello, care only about myself and people who are close to me, begin talking a strange language that noone understands.......I need to go back to the Midwest to get away from all this Californization.
With all these upsets going on in college football, Buckeyes have a shot to be in the big game. Crossing my fingers, happy post Thanksgiving blahs to all of you.
