Omigosh It must be 400 degrees out there and are we getting fatter dumber and poorer? Yeech and I thought after we had a rather cool summer out here in LA the place starts feeling like an oven just like last year. I mean out here in Van Nuys it can't be any cooler than the Sahara Desert. I can't even stay in my apartment because my beat up old airconditioner that my landlord never fixes doesn't work very well. I mean I'm out here posting my 'thoughts' on my old beatup laptop in one of these cool well airconditioned Starbucks sipping an cool iced coffee.
Well tommorrow and maybe all of Labor Day weekend I'm gonna beat all this LA traffic and head to one of the local beaches cause right now at 9 in the evening YOU CAN STILL FRY AN EGG ON ANY SIDEWALK IN VAN NUYS.
You people in Las Vegas and Phoenix are talking about your 110 degree heat well you're a bunch of panywaists when out here in the San Fernando Valley in some places it reached 115.
Enough talking about the heat it makes me sweat just thinking about it. I just read in the local LA rag that you know all these statistics are showing that people's incomes went down and the SAT scores went down but the obesity went up all over the place. So all these stats are showing that we're all getting poorer and dumber but making up by getting heavier? Well I'll have you people that while I'm poor like most everybody else who puts in a hard days work and is honest I did do very well on my SATs and I most certainly keep an eye on my weight.
You people want to know how to keep that weight down. EAT FRUITS AND VEGETABLES ONLY AT LEAST 2 OR 3 DAYS A WEEK. NONE OF THAT ANIMAL FOOD OR ANY JUNK FOOD. Also walk wherever you can and for heaven sakes do your own housecleaning. You people want tight abs. PICK STUFF UP.
Two anniversaries are coming up. Its the 40th anniversary of the 'Big Mac' and the 50th anniversary of the 'Edsel.'
By the way those Edsels which were consider lemons when they were made are now collectors items where people are paying well over a hundred grand for vintage models. I'm hearing that even the 'Ford Pinto' is starting to become a
collectors item. Makes me think about keeping my beat up old pickup truck.

I just read about how some big shot entertainer lost a million dollars in one night at a Las Vegas Casino. It just sickens me to hear how many starving kids in the Sudan that million dollars could have fed.
Most important things by order of importance. Fresh air, clean water, food, being healthy and THEN we can talk about materialistic things like money. I mean how can anybody COMPARE a pretty rock like gold to frssh air. I mean the last thing I heard YOU CAN'T BREATHE GOLD. I guess I just uttered a 'Fifism.'
You struggling writers and actors and anybody else who wants to make it to the top need to read that fable about the 'Pied Piper' using his flute to convince all those lemmings to go to the sea and drown. I mean face it all these succesful people are really nothing but good 'pied pipers' who must have some kind of 'flute' to convince all these 'lemmings' to buy their products or pay big bucks for their 'services.' You people and I guess I myself need to figure a way how to get one of those 'flutes.' Did I just utter another Fifism?
Omigosh the local lottery jackpot out here in LA has reached OVER 300 MILLION. It's just ridiculous to see all these people throw away their hard earned grocery money for lottery tickets. I'd have a better chance
of getting struck by lightning right now in LA than winning the lottery AND THERE'S NOT A CLOUD IN THE SKY. Of course I did buy a few lottery tickets myself. Just hope it doesn't start getting cloudy.
Well you read my recent short story with comments from some of my readers and I found out that Eskimos near the North Pole are reading 'Fifi's Thoughts.' People from 3 to 103 are reading 'Fifi's Thoughts.' People who live in the Amazon jungles are reading 'Fifi's Thoughts.' People in China wether they live near the Yangtze or Yalu Rivers are reading 'Fifi's Thoughts.' When we inhabit Mars in the not too distant future I'm sure people over there will be reading 'Fifi's Thoughts.' Allright that's way more than enough thoughts for now.
