'Forever' and why the heck is it so tough for young 'jugglers' like me to get work? All you old people, you know gen xers and baby boomers and you people who lived in ancient times, you know like 1910 thru 1960, well I'll just have you know that I'm auditioning for a retro TV show called 'Forever.' They want a silly immature teenage or twenty something redhead to be the hostess. You know so people can think about their high school or college days. Why the producers are looking for redheads I have no idea, probably because the producers think all redheads are silly and immature and never age. I mean I think I'd be perfect the part. There's so many people who tell me that I'm 23 going on 16. There will also be a male counterpart, you know some blonde beachboy type. Biff you need to audition for 'Forever' too?
Anyways 'Forever' is like a retro show where people come out and talk about what happened during a certain year, like say '1987.' You know celebrities like Bananarama would be invited and all the events that occured in 1987 would be talked about, you people remmeber that stock market crash? Omigosh they may be ready to have another one. So that's what 'Forever' is about.
You people going to your Class of '87 reunion ready to listen to 'Always' by Atlantic Starr being played over and over? I'm sure that's what they played at your prom.
You people going to your Class of '77 reunion ready to listen to a little Heatwave music?
Of course you Summer of Love '67 grads have a lot to talk about 40 years after you probably listened to 'Sgt Pepper' for the first time.
As for me well I'm not quite 10 years out, thank god I just can't stand to see those stuck up party girls I despised back in school but then while my face is nice and smooth their faces are already starting to get a little wrinkled from all their partying and tanning.
Omigosh what on Earth will us genyers who finished school in the 90s and 00s talk about 20 or 30 years when we start going retro? The movies, songs, TV shows, and books are just so bad today. I mean when they talk about toilet humor being part of the entertanment scene today they are truly right. I mean sometimes I hate to say it but I find it more entertaining to go to the toilet than watch a movie or watch a TV show or listen to a song made today.
I mean why the heck is it so tough for us young 'jugglers', you know entertainers as 'juggling' was a big form of entertainment 500 years ago, to find work when you such low quality today in the entertainment world. I can only reccommend 3 movies for all of 2007 and it's already August, I don't watch any network TV, and I haven't heard a memorable song where people actually speak English in ages. Lord you've gotta give us talented people a break, you've done more than enough for the mediocrities.
Alright I actually did see a movie this weekend I would reccommend in addition to the ugh and argh totally waste of time go see the lousy reviews in Rotten Tomatoes to prove my point'Invasion' and 'Rush Hour 3.' The decent movie was a well thought out high school 'geek' genre movie called 'Rocket Science.' It's a 'realistic' and not the common 'dumb and silly 20 and 30 something jocks and cheerleaders taking on geeks' high school movie about a kid with a stuttering problem determined to win a debating contest. So again in 2007 only three movies stand out, 'Rocket Science,' 'Breach,' and yes I gotta admit I'm starting to like '300'.
Who I want to kick in the butt. I just read in the paper about all these 'scam artists' who take advantage of old people with there con games. There was a story about some 'financial planner' who milked like the entire life savings from a widowed maintainance worker. I got so mad when I read that. I'd like to kick all these con artists in the butt so hard that they'd have trouble going to the bathroom. Finally I also read in the paper about these 'yuppie's' who can afford to fork out over $500 a day for a luxury tent at some fancy campground in Montana where they get a private chef. You yuppies need to get off your butt and cook your own food and not throw money away. Me when I go camping I'll take my old pup tent out to Big Bear to look at the stars and I AM JUST FINE COOKING PORK AND BEANS, I DON'T NEED NO CHEF. WAY WAY WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH THOUGHTS FOR NOW.
